Support for Stepmums
We know that being a stepmum is hard. Really hard. It’s not just the logistics, it’s the emotional weight, the invisible expectations, and the constant balancing act of showing how much you care without crossing an ever-shifting line. And that’s before you factor in the complex emotions: resentment, jealousy, anger… not to mention difficult exes and a partner weighed down by guilt.
At Stepmum Space, everything we offer is designed to meet you exactly where you are - with judgement-free support that’s practical, compassionate, and rooted in real-life change. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just in need of a space to breathe, we’re here to help support you in making real, lasting change.
We offer a variety of support options, each designed specifically to meet your unique needs. Explore the options below to find what’s right for you.

Coaching
Stepmum coaching is a dedicated space for women who are navigating the often complex and emotionally layered role of being a stepmother.
Katie offers compassionate, one-to-one support designed to help stepmums feel seen, heard, and empowered—whether you're facing challenges in family dynamics, communication, or defining your unique place in your family.
Through thoughtful guidance and practical strategies, stepmum coaching encourages personal growth, emotional resilience, and the confidence to craft your role within your family in order to be happy and ensure your needs are met.
It’s about finding clarity and balance in a role that can full of challenges but also incredibly rewarding.
You will find one to one coaching hugely beneficial whether you are at the start of your Stepmum journey or right in the thick of it!
Workshops
The Stepmum Space workshops are designed to support women in a stepfamily with common challenges whilst also exploring the situations unique to your family.
Run by Katie, our workshops offer a warm, non judgemental space which has been designed to allow Stepmums to meet other Stepmums and work through issues in a safe space with others who know what they're going through and can offer practical advice, support (and often ongoing friendship). These are small group sessions where we use a mix of solo exercises, group conversation, coaching and mentoring.
Every workshop is run online to make joining easier for you. To maintain a safe, confidential space, sessions are not recorded.

The Stepmum Toolkit
The Stepmum Toolkit is a suite of self-led resources created for stepmums who want to improve their wellbeing from the comfort of home, in their own time. Each Toolkit takes around 90 minutes to complete and is filled with thought-provoking prompts, practical strategies, and emotional support to help you navigate the ups and downs of stepfamily life.
Once purchased, the downloadable resource is yours to keep and revisit as often as you need.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready to take a proactive step forward, each Toolkit offers a gentle yet powerful way to reflect on your experiences, clarify your emotions, and build personalised strategies that make a real difference.
You can explore each individual Toolkit in more detail in the shop.
Francesca, London
Being with people who understood the challenges, where you could speak completely openly and where whatever you said felt understood, meant so much in a world where it so often feels the opposite.
Having the time and space to work with Katie on specific exercises directed at helping us with our individual issues was so useful, to give clarity to thoughts and feelings and to take away ideas and approaches that I know will help throughout the rest of my step-mum journey
Jillian, Edinburgh
Joining Katie’s workshop is the best thing I’ve done to help with my Stepmum anxiety. Getting to speak to women in the same situation and support each other has made me so much more happy and confident!I feel less alone and I’ve got this support network who actually gets what it’s like!
Nikki, Twickenham
I've had counselling in the past but nobody has been able to explain how my mind works and help me shift my thought patterns like Katie. The workshop really was amazing!
