The Stepcouple workshop
Being in a stepfamily isn’t just about combining households—it’s about navigating a complex web of emotions, histories, and expectations. For couples, that can mean dealing with loyalty binds, parenting clashes, unresolved grief, and the pressure to “make it work” while juggling the needs of children, ex-partners, and each other.
This workshop is designed specifically for couples in stepfamilies who want to feel more connected, more understood, and more equipped to handle the unique challenges they face together.
Led by Katie, the workshop offers a warm, non-judgemental space where couples can:
-
Explore how their individual experiences are shaping the relationship
-
Understand common stepfamily dynamics and how they affect communication, parenting, and intimacy
-
Learn how to support each other without losing sight of personal needs
-
Develop tools for setting boundaries, managing conflict, and building trust
-
Create a shared vision for the future that honours both the past and the present
Through a mix of guided exercises, open conversation, and practical coaching, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your relationship—and a clearer path forward.
Whether you're feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply want to strengthen your bond, this workshop is a chance to reconnect, reset, and rebuild—together.

Being with people who understood the challenges, where you could speak completely openly and where whatever you said felt understood, meant so much in a world where it so often feels the opposite.
Having the time and space to work with Katie on specific exercises directed at helping us with our individual issues was so useful, to give clarity to thoughts and feelings and to take away ideas and approaches that I know will help throughout the rest of my step-mum journey

Joining Katie’s workshop is the best thing I’ve done to help with my Stepmum anxiety. Getting to speak to women in the same situation and support each other has made me so much more happy and confident!I feel less alone and I’ve got this support network who actually gets what it’s like!

I've had counselling in the past but nobody has been able to explain how my mind works and help me shift my thought patterns like Katie. The workshop really was amazing!
