Coaching for Stepmums

We know that being a stepmum is hard. Really hard. It’s not just the logistics, it’s the emotional weight, the invisible expectations, and the constant balancing act of showing how much you care without crossing an ever-shifting line. And that’s before you factor in the complex emotions: resentment, jealousy, anger… not to mention difficult exes and a partner weighed down by guilt.

At Stepmum Space, everything we offer is designed to meet you exactly where you are - with judgement-free support that’s practical, compassionate, and rooted in real-life change. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just in need of a space to breathe, we’re here to help support you in making real, lasting change.

Coaching

Stepmum coaching is a dedicated space for women who are navigating the often complex and emotionally layered role of being a stepmother.

Katie offers compassionate, one-to-one support designed to help stepmums feel seen, heard, and empowered—whether you're facing challenges in family dynamics, communication, or defining your unique place in your family.

Through thoughtful guidance and practical strategies, stepmum coaching encourages personal growth, emotional resilience, and the confidence to craft your role within your family in order to be happy and ensure your needs are met. Katie uses bespoke tools to support you and provides optional additional resources for your own personal use between sessions. She understands sometimes it's hard to take everything in in your coaching sessions so she provides notes and reflections for you which can help you continue your journey in between sessions and keep you on track.

It’s about finding clarity and balance in a role that can full of challenges - but which can also be hugely rewarding.

You will find one to one coaching hugely beneficial whether you are at the start of your Stepmum journey or right in the thick of it!

Sam, Essex

Looking back, I was completely burying my head in the sand about the impact my ex was having on my new relationship. I was terrified she’d turn my kids against me, so I avoided conflict and never stood up for myself. Working with Katie helped me realise I could set boundaries without making things worse, and actually improve the time I spend with my children. I was sceptical about coaching at first, but it’s been a game-changer. I genuinely recommend Katie to any dads feeling stuck.

Alex, Dorset

Coaching was  a last resort for me. I didn’t know what else to do. I just wanted everyone to get along, but I kept avoiding things, hoping they’d sort themselves out. My kids weren’t happy, my partner wasn’t happy, and I felt stuck in the middle. Working with Katie made me take a proper look at how I was showing up. She asked the kind of questions that really made me think. I started to see how I could make changes and show my kids they mattered without leaving my partner feeling sidelined. I wasn’t sure coaching would help, but I’m glad I gave it a go.

Josh, Northampton

After losing my wife, I was just trying to keep things steady for the kids. When I started a new relationship, I didn’t realise how much I was still carrying. Coaching with Katie helped me face some tough truths and find a way to support my kids while also being fair to my partner. It’s made a real difference.
