Coaching for Stepmums
We know that being a stepmum is hard. Really hard. It’s not just the logistics, it’s the emotional weight, the invisible expectations, and the constant balancing act of showing how much you care without crossing an ever-shifting line. And that’s before you factor in the complex emotions: resentment, jealousy, anger… not to mention difficult exes and a partner weighed down by guilt.
At Stepmum Space, everything we offer is designed to meet you exactly where you are - with judgement-free support that’s practical, compassionate, and rooted in real-life change. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just in need of a space to breathe, we’re here to help support you in making real, lasting change.
Stepmum coaching is a dedicated space for women who are navigating the often complex and emotionally layered role of being a stepmother.
Katie offers compassionate, one-to-one support designed to help stepmums feel seen, heard, and empowered—whether you're facing challenges in family dynamics, communication, or defining your unique place in your family.
Through thoughtful guidance and practical strategies, stepmum coaching encourages personal growth, emotional resilience, and the confidence to craft your role within your family in order to be happy and ensure your needs are met. Katie uses bespoke tools to support you and provides optional additional resources for your own personal use between sessions. She understands sometimes it's hard to take everything in in your coaching sessions so she provides notes and reflections for you which can help you continue your journey in between sessions and keep you on track.
It’s about finding clarity and balance in a role that can full of challenges - but which can also be hugely rewarding.
You will find one to one coaching hugely beneficial whether you are at the start of your Stepmum journey or right in the thick of it!

I came to Katie exhausted, overwhelmed, and doubting myself every single day. Within a few sessions I felt something I hadn’t felt in years... hope. She helped me understand what was mine, what wasn’t, and what I no longer needed to carry. I feel calmer, clearer, and so much stronger in my role. My partner has noticed the difference, the kids have noticed the difference… and so have I. It’s honestly been life-changing.

Before working with Katie,my mind was constantly whirring. The days before my stepkids came I’d spiral into anxiety, dread, knot in my stomach, the whole thing. Even hearing their mum’s name would send me into a complete spin. I hated feeling that way because I love my partner, but my body just reacted like it was gearing up for battle every single week. Working with Katie helped me break it all down in a way that felt safe and doable. She didn’t judge, didn’t minimise it, and didn’t make me feel like a ‘bad’ stepmum for struggling. She helped me understand why I was feeling like that and gave me ways to calm my system that actually work.

I started working with Katie because I constantly felt like I’d never measure up. My partner’s ex is a brilliant mum, and instead of just accepting that, I compared myself to her every single day. I felt jealous of her, jealous of the kids, and then guilty for feeling that way. It was exhausting.
Katie helped me make sense of it all in a way that felt safe. She showed me why I was feeling so insecure and helped me find my own place in the family, one that isn’t about competing or proving anything.
I feel lighter, calmer, and more like myself. I’m not living in comparison anymore, and it’s honestly changed everything
